Kids, that was an interesting, gruesome experience to watch Troy with you even if I had no interest, really. I mean, you already bought the tickets, eh may choice pa ba ko? ha-ha!! Eh eto namang si Blossom, matapos mangulit manood ng Troy eh nagtakip lang ng mukha at nakadilat lang kapag kita ang Brad Pwitt. Anyway, it was an average film. (O... critic!) Lotsa funny moments, but I'm sure they weren't aiming for that reaction from viewers. I have to warn everyone, though, to cleanse your soul when you see the preview for Naglalayag, where Ate Guy and that young actor kiss. Raise your hand if eeww.
This week's top stories
As y'all know, our Thomsom Financial girl Blossom Valiente rents a pad in Makati now and is planning to host a simple pad-warming party full of gin surprises next week, probably Friday, after we watch the daw Shrek 2--which, I dunno, was the film that I wanted to watch yesterday...--in Greenbelt. That is, if she and Rio can buy a fridge already. This apartment, based on earlier reports, is slightly smaller in square footage than aspiring lawyer Marita Mina's Loyola Grand Villas bedroom, and Blossom alias Ms. Ticketta Maginhawa claims that her friends' bedrooms would be larger with convincing certainty. In the end, this apartment will be dubbed the "t.A.t.U Central Station" in Makati as the girlfriend plans to move in... ah, the perks of being a Makati girl.
In related reports, Italy-bound ex-president of Club Círculo Hispánico Niña Manuson will depart on June 17 for a scholarship in the southern portion of the bootleg peninsula, and is planning to hold her cheapipay despedida soon but no date set as yet. Allegedly, the ex-president has limited funds at the moment because she just traded her local currency for euros that's why cheapipay has become the favorite word. The lady will be returning in September and she won't forget to bring a balikbayan box for her loyal peasants.
We are still trying to convert Nikki Del Corro to be an Orgullosa but no luck as yet.
Area Manager of the Month Mye Yawan has been extra busy because of her responsilibites as the youngest manager the Club has produced. She is expected to deliver a report that we shall be rewarded discounts at the Filigrenesia Chain of Stores which will suprise us and endear her more to the adoring public.
Rhoda Gloria's grams passed away. Our deepest condolences.
Diday, Eky, Mel F. and Rio are on their way to completing their University requirements as they join Bingo (the clever one) and Nancy (the former E-tel girl) in their quest to graduation.
The press release from the E.L. Department confirms that La Lola Verano will be handling 105-106 integrated class bound to be superfun at 7:00 am daily.
Wires from our California Bureau have been down in a while, as our correspondent Ian Paat has not updated us in weeks. Also in related news, our Subic Chapter, headed by Armis Bajar has been out of contact but hopefully the leader will be available soon especially now that the American school year has ended, and especially that her birth anniversary is coming in a month's time. We also apologize for our Mexican Embassy representative Señorita Melissa E. as she has been outtasight since her last apparition on May 4.
Jiji Bermudez, new president of the Club, was pressed to conduct a despedida party before she flies to Spain this end of June. No word yet if that will push thru.
We have heard through the grapevine that Rojo Manaligod was wooed by Peoplesupport, but would not disclose the amount buen salario implies. Piracy has been so openly practiced by this contact center as they are surveying us newly-grads about our employment prospects.
Karina Santillan, one of our cum laude graduates, just began her stint at Source One Asia. She is happy with the remuneration package the ISO-certified company has offered her. Meanwhile, in buhat-bangko news, veteran Source1Asia multilingual agent Allanski is nearing his 1st anniversary with the company, which will be July 10. He has "cleverly" justified his tardiness and has been awarded extra effectivo for his performance in the company. In their excellence monthly cash incentive program called "Exceed" that began last October 2003, he has been awarded for Oct, Dec, Feb, Mar, Apr, and May. "El empleo me paga bien. Ademas no parece como trabajo. De momento, disfruto de esto," according to him. In an unverified report, there could be a gastronomic celebration for this feat, but we are still waiting for a million signatures submitted to orgullo_de_mama@yahoogroups.com.
Finally, our resident cutie pie Donpipay has just been given the Glitter soundtrack, as it is exceptionally, hands-down, a good album (Author's note: TRUE!). He bought a tape thing that connects a discman to a tape deck so he can play CD's, and what a wonderful start it is to pilot this event with this CD. (Author's note: yeah I mean, it is wonderful music...=D ) Meanwhile, he was touched by newly-crowned Idol Fantasia Barrino's winning performance of I Believe. There were rumors spreading that Diana DeGarmo lost because she copied Priscilla Almeada's face and Katya Santos' ex-belly.
Well, kids, these are the top stories the past week. Dahil kami dito sa Orgullo Online, walang inuurungan, walang tinatakbuhan, una sa chismes at sa katotohanan. Until next time, 'ta luego!
